Create and Manage Custom Roles in Merchant Settings

The User Roles page in the Merchant Settings section has been enhanced to give more flexibility and control. Users with the appropriate permissions can now:

  • Create bespoke roles tailored to their business needs

  • Edit existing roles directly from the same page

  • Assign roles immediately once created

Each role panel also includes an activity log showing who created or edited the role and when, giving you a clear audit trail for role management.

Choose Your Payment Rail for Euro Payouts

We’ve added a new Advanced Configuration section to the payout creation flow. You can now choose a specific payment rail when sending a Euro payment.

By default, the system will automatically select the appropriate rail, but if needed, you can manually choose the rail that best suits your transaction. This gives you more control over how your payments are routed.

New Account Access Controls

When creating an account, you'll now be prompted to define who can access it. You can choose to:

  • Keep it private to yourself, or

  • Assign access based on specific roles.

Only the account creator and users with the selected roles will be able to view and manage the new account. This update ensures better control and security over account access from the start.

Payment Request Improvements

We’ve redesigned our Payment Request feature to give you more flexibility, control, and visibility when managing incoming payments.

You can now configure default settings that automatically apply to new payment requests—ideal for keeping things consistent across teams. These defaults can be locked (to prevent changes) or left editable for team-specific adjustments.

We’ve also introduced custom fields, so you can tailor each payment request to your business needs. Mark fields as required, optional, or hidden to suit your workflow.

A new Due Date field has also been added, helping you track when payments are expected, and making it easier to stay on top of deadlines.

These enhancements are designed to streamline how you create, manage, and monitor payment requests—while keeping the experience intuitive for both your team and your customers.

New Receipt Functionality

We’ve introduced a new receipt feature to make payment tracking and record-keeping easier for you and your customers.

Now, for any payment made via a payment link, a downloadable PDF receipt is available in the portal. Anyone with access can easily view or print the receipt at any time.

If you collect the customer’s email when setting up the payment request, you can also enable automatic email delivery—sending the receipt directly to the customer as soon as the payment is completed

This makes it easier to manage and share receipts—no extra steps needed.

USD Accounts Now Supported

You can now open and manage USD accounts with NoFrixion! This update gives you greater flexibility in handling multi-currency payments and expands your ability to do business internationally.

Improvements to the Pay Run Process

We've updated the pay run process to give you more control over how payouts to suppliers are grouped.

If you set a Payment Reference:

  • Invoices with the same IBAN and reference are grouped.

  • Invoices with the same IBAN but different references are split into separate payouts.

This gives you greater flexibility—especially when dealing with shared suppliers or customer-specific references.

New Merchant Profile Page

We've added a Merchant Profile page that includes key details such as Merchant Information, Authorisation Settings, and Emergency Actions. One important feature is the ability for users with the appropriate permissions to suspend a merchant directly from this page if suspicious activity is detected.

To access this page, simply navigate to the dropdown menu next to your merchant name in the top-right corner.

Pay Run Workflow Update

We’ve improved the pay run workflow to give you greater clarity on what happens after payouts are submitted. You can now easily track when payouts are processing, giving you clearer visibility into the status of your payments.

New Pay Run Filters Added

We’ve added new filters to the pay runs page, giving you more control and flexibility when managing your payment data. You can now sort pay runs by status, amount by currency, number of payments, and authorisation date.

Export Payments Data to CSV

You can now export a CSV of your current accounts, transactions, payment requests, payouts, and beneficiaries, making it easier to track and reconcile your payment records.

Simply apply filters by date, status, or other criteria, then click the Export button at the top right of the transactions table.

Enhanced Automation with Rules

We've enhanced the Rules feature to make it simpler, more flexible, and more powerful—unlocking new automation possibilities.

For example, you can now automatically deduct VAT and transfer it to a designated VAT account, improving cash flow management and efficiency.

Clear Display of User Permissions

You can now easily view a detailed breakdown of user permissions across the platform. For each user, their specific access and capabilities are clearly displayed, providing enhanced transparency and control over account roles and security.

Search Transactions by Amount

You can now quickly find transactions by searching for specific amounts in your current accounts, making it easier to locate and track payments with precision.

Display Destination Account Info in Payment Request Details

After creating a payment request, the destination account information is now visible under the Payment Info tab, providing clearer visibility into where the funds are being sent.

Renew Expired Connected Accounts with One Click

You can now easily renew expired connected accounts with the Renew button. This button appears in both the table view and the account page, replacing the balance information until the connection is restored.

Customisable Reply-To Email for Remittance Notes

You can now set a Reply-To email address for remittance emails, ensuring that customer replies are sent directly to your preferred email instead of the standard NoFrixion address.

If you’d like to configure your own Reply-To email, contact support@nofrixion.com.

Payment Confirmation Documents

You can now download a confirmation document for every payout and transaction record. This document serves as proof that a payment has been successfully submitted for processing and is on its way.

This ensures you have a comprehensive record for every transaction, supporting your payment traceability and compliance needs.

Default Date Filter Set to "All"

We've updated the default date filter on your records view! Now, the filter is set to "All" by default, displaying your entire transaction history without the need for adjustments.

This change ensures you have a complete view of your records immediately, while still allowing you to refine your results with custom filters when needed.

Remittance ID for Payrun References

When creating a Payrun, you can now assign a unique reference ID to each payout in the ‘payment reference’ column of the CSV. This reference will appear in both the remittance email subject and content, making it easier to match payouts with their associated Payrun.
